Vivian R. ''Mike'' Bolton

Vivian R. "Mike" Bolton, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, died on October 25, 2008 at his home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, he was the son of the late Albert and Phoebe Kitchen Bolton. A veteran of the U.S. Navy, he served in WWII. He graduated from George Washington University and then went on to a 42 year career as a federal civil servant, which included 20 years working at TCOM at Aberdeen Proving Grounds. He received many commendations during his career including an award for outstanding supervisor and one for his contribution to the federal women's program.

Mr. Bolton is survived by his wife, Estelle S. Bolton of Bel Air, MD; three sons, Jimmy Moon and wife, Janice, of Street, MD, David Moon of West Memphis, AR, Kevin Michael Bolton of Bel Air, MD; two daughters, Ellen Fitzgerald and husband, Michael, of Gaithersburg, MD and Margaret Webster and her fiancé, Jerome Nickerson, of Washington, DC; and ten grandchildren, Matthew Moon of Perry Hall, MD, Jeremy Moon of Phoenix, MD, Brandon Webster of Bel Air, MD, Chesley Moon of Clarksville, AR, Michael Webster of Bel Air, MD, Julianna Moon of West Memphis, AR, Bobby, Emily, and Sean Fitzgerald of Gaithersburg, MD, Michael Simms of Joppa, MD; niece, Donna Kutsaftis of Newport, RI; and nephew, Michael Bolton of Falls Church, VA. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Allen Bolton, and a sister, Shirley Melan.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Webster, Michael Webster, Jimmy Moon, David Moon, Michael Fitzgerald, and Kevin Bolton.
