Virginia S. Brewer

VIRGINIA E. BREWER, age 84, of Jarrettsville, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on March 19, 2005. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Rubert Allen and Mary Elizabeth Rhodes Sullivan, and the wife of the late Robert Lee Brewer. A resident of Harford County since 1981, she had worked at C&P Telephone Company for 40 years as an executive secretary. She graduated from Western High in Baltimore. She was a member of the Road Runners Club and a past president of the Mothers Growing Grace Club. She enjoyed playing Bingo and traveling.

Mrs. Brewer is survived by one son, Gary R. Brewer of Finksburg; one daughter, Virginia (Ginny) Purcell and her husband, Jack of Jarrettsville; two brothers, Kenneth E. Sullivan; William Sullivan, both of Florida; one sister, Betty Mae Clinedinst of Bowleys Quarters; three grandchildren; Erik Brewer of Taneytown; Kirsten Sauter of Owings Mills; Stacey Bridges of Jarrettsville; three great-grandchildren, Syndey Brewer; Camryn Brewer, both of Taneytown; and Sarah McKenzie of Jarrettsville.
