Virginia Parsons Litchfield

Virginia Parsons Litchfield, age 84, of Edgewood, MD passed away on February 7, 2013 at Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation. Born in Lansing, NC, she was the daughter of the late Robert Cornelius and Ruth Ann Childers Parsons and wife, for 52 years, of the late George H. Litchfield. A homemaker, she was a very active member of Towne Baptist Church. She loved to shop, do ceramics, garden and go dancing every Saturday night.

Mrs. Litchfield is survived by her sons, Harold Whitaker Sr. and wife, Brenda of Joppa, David Whitaker and wife, Judith of Kingsville and Daniel Litchfield Sr. and wife, Frances of Edgewood; brother, Warren Parsons of NC; sisters, Mae Baker of AZ and Frances McBride of NC; grandchildren, Jacqueline McVicker, Randolph Whitaker and Daniel Litchfield Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her first husband, John G. Whitaker, two brothers and one sister, her grandson, Harold Whitaker Jr. and brothers and sister in law, Woodrow Baker, Paul McBride and Grace Parsons.

Pallbearers will be Harold Whitaker, Dave Whitaker, Daniel Litchfield Jr., Daniel Litchfield Sr., Allen Barnes and Randolph Whitaker.
