Virginia M. Foor

Virginia May Foor, age 96, of Bel Air, MD, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2024, at Hooper Hospice House, Forest Hill MD. Born in Bel Air, MD, she was the daughter of the late James Wilson and the late Daisy Marie Smithson Wilson. She worked at Bata Shoe Company and Deco sign Co. before retiring many years ago. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends as well as attending church and other social functions. She had a happy mischievous sense of humor that always made us laugh. She had wonderful neighbors that looked after each other for many years.

Mrs. Foor was married to her husband of 57 years, Robert W. Foor.  She was the last surviving of 7 sisters. The late, Lucille Gott of Baltimore, MD, Doris Miller of Baltimore MD, Marie Martin, Hannah Cochran, Betty Miller, Peggy Hollar all of Bel Air, MD. She was also predeceased by two brothers, Charles K. Wilson and George Griest. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
