Virginia Elizabeth Speyer

Virginia Elizabeth Lanning Speyer, 86, of Fallston, Maryland, surrounded by her family, went to be with our blessed Lord on April 21, 2017. Ginny was born on August 25, 1930 in Belleville, New Jersey. She was married to Walter "Bud" Speyer for 57 years. In addition to raising seven children and supporting her beloved Bud through his business career, she enjoyed singing with the Sweet Adelines while living in Birmingham, Alabama. She put her heart and soul into raising and providing for her family and forming countless memories of a cherished upbringing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Marion McNair Lanning, her husband Walter Joseph Speyer, and sister Marion Korn. Virginia is survived by her sister Barbara Quinn, her children, Gayle Elizabeth Perry (Phil), Michael James Speyer (Santina ), Patricia Ann Brown (William), Timothy John Speyer, Paul Gregory Speyer (Fredreica), Daniel Joseph Speyer (Lisa), Matthew Tiernan Speyer (Julie), as well as her 14 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, four nephews, and one niece.
