Virgie Lee Elliott, age 91, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on April 13, 2022 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Born in Hydes, Maryland, she was the daughter of William and Luna (Little) McMillan. She worked as a telephone operator for almost 40 years and was a lifetime member of Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church (on route 22). Virgie's biggest passion in life was her family, whom she loved dearly. She was one of the most selfless and easy-going people you would ever come across. Virgie talked to her sister every day on the phone, and she was very involved in her grandchildren's lives, attending every church or sporting event she could. She was also quite the animal lover and enjoyed any time spent with the family dogs, Tucker and Bear. Virgie loved doing crossword puzzles, crocheting, and the occasional trip to the slot machines.
Virgie is survived by her son, James (Robin) Elliott; sister, Evelyn (Eddie) Gray; grandchildren, Robbie (Leanna) Elliott, Nicholas Elliott and Logan Elliott; and many loving nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, William W. McMillan.
Contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church, 1707 E. Churchville Rd. Bel Air, MD 21015.
