Viola F. Rogers

Viola F. Rogers died at the age of 89 on May 29, 2016 at her home in Abingdon, MD. She was born in Meadow Bluff, WV to William E. Fleshman and Lula E. (Holliday) Fleshman. Her husband, Carl Rogers, predeceased her. Her hobbies included gardening, painting and flowers which she loved. She was involved with various organizations which included the BCBS Retirees Club, the SALT Committee, and the AARP of Joppatowne Chapter where she was past President, Vice President and Secretary.

Survivors include her daughter Cindy Rogers of Birmingham, AL; her son Douglas A. Rogers (Janine) of Fallston; her granddaughters Jodi Rogers-Twigg (Jeffrey) of Abingdon and Alicia Rogers of Fallston; her great-granddaughters Annabella Rogers and Candice Rogers both of Fallston; and her brother Lowell Fleshman of Smoot, WV. In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by five brothers.
