Vinod Modi

Vinod Modi, age 79, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on August 9, 2017 at his home. Born in Tanzania, Africa, he was the son of Mohanlal and Radha Modi. He attended college in India and London, England where he moved to in 1968. He lived there until 1977, and then lived in New York and New Jersey. In 2004, he moved to Maryland to spend more time with family and grandchildren. He was on the Advisory Committee at APG, where he worked to clean up the Chesapeake Bay for the environment.

Mr. Modi is survived by his wife of 51 years, Nirmala Modi; son, Sanjeev Modi & daughter in law Grace M. Modi both of Abingdon; grandchildren, Vijay V. Modi, Rena S. Modi and Maya G. Modi also of Abingdon; and brothers, Shanti Modi and Kumar Modi both of New York.
