Vincent Rome Maranto

Vincent Rome Maranto, age 53, of Westminster, Maryland, passed away on May 11, 2023, at Carroll County General Hospital in Westminster, Maryland. Born in Taunton, Massachusetts, he was the son of Salvatore Maranto III and Florence Daniels. Vince was a hardworking and dedicated individual who spent many years working as a security guard at Springfield Hospital in Sykesville, MD. His colleagues and friends knew him for his exceptional work ethic and unwavering commitment to his job.

Vince was fascinated with tanks when he was younger, enjoyed playing video games in his downtime, and was a huge Star Wars fan. Vince had a very good heart. His compassion toward others started at a young age, and he was always very caring and looking after others. He was a wonderful dad to Sophie, everyone loved him, and he never met a stranger.   

Vincent is survived by his daughter, Sophie Maranto, who was the light of his life and brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his sister, Dawn Brockmeyer, his nephew Nathan Brockmeyer, his uncle, Kenneth Maranto, and his aunt, Patty Rosen, all of whom loved him dearly and will miss him greatly. His parents and other family members predeceased him.

Contributions may be made to the family to provide future care and education expenses for his daughter Sophie.
