Vincent Joseph Sabatino, age 70, of Monkton, MD entered the presence of Jesus on January 24, 2019 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center Baltimore, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY to Gerald and Mary Sabatino, he made a life with his loving wife Marsha Marie Scully Sabatino with whom he shared 47 years of marriage.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Sabatino is survived by his daughter and her husband, Jake and Amy Hollin; his son and his wife, David and Louisa Sabatino; grandchildren Grace, Ellie, Manna, and Sojo Hollin; his brother and his wife, Joseph and Melissa Sabatino; sister-in-law Marika Sabatino; and many beloved nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Gerald and Thomas Sabatino.
Vincent was a godly man who left a rich heritage of love and generosity to all he met. He loved the Lord and followed Him for 27 years of his life, leading bible studies and serving as elder and advisor in the various churches God led him too. He loved his wife and family and was a faithful provider and shepherd. His whole extended family would spend Christmas every year in Florida where many memories and games of pinochle were to be had.
He retired from Unilever after 30 years of service. After leaving the office, he headed for the links and spent quite a bit of time golfing, even living in River Landing, NC until their home was destroyed by Hurricane Florence in September 2018. What he built, however, was much greater than what was lost, and his family and friends are grateful for the gift of his life and the legacy of faith he left.
