Vincent Frank Tutino

Vincent F. Tutino, 86, of Coolidge Court, Malone, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday August 4th, 2014. Born on February 14, 1928 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of Vincent and Mae (Piano) Tutino.

He married the love of his life, Barbara A. Fish on April 3rd, 1956 in Notre Dame Church in Malone.
Vince grew up in Brooklyn, NY and graduated from St. Michaels High School in 1946. After High School he joined the U.S. Navy. He was a life-long musician and music educator and retired from the Malone Central School District as Music Director after 38 years. He held advanced degrees in Music and Education from Ithaca College (BS & BM) and NYU (MA). Throughout his life he was also a dedicated public servant to the Malone community. He was active in the Malone Catholic Parishes and the Malone Rotary Club where he was recently honored for 50 years of service, including being a past President. He was also a member of the Elks Club of Malone for over 56 years.

He is survived by his 3 sons and daughters-in-law, 8 grandchildren, 1 brother, and predeceased by his parents and wife of 57 years.

Informal calling hours will be held from 7 PM to 9 PM on August 8th, 2014 at St. Mary Murphy Funeral Home.
A Mass and Christian Burial service will be held at 10 AM on August 9th, 2014 at St Joseph's Church in Malone, NY. Burial will take place immediately following at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lake Titus Road.
