Vicki Kemp-Couto, age 62, of Forest Hill, MD, died on November 5, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Marjorie Shipley Kemp. A Harford County resident since 1989, she had worked at C&P Telephone Company for 26 years before becoming Executive Vice President of World Investigative Services in 1991. In 2006, she started World Protective Services where she served as president. A member of AOPA, she was a certified handgun instructor, enjoyed flying with her husband and was an avid reader. She loved animals, especially horses and rescued several animals. Her pride and joy was her horse, Trudy.
Mrs. Kemp-Couto is survived by her husband, David Couto of Forest Hill, MD; daughter, Jennifer Fulmer and her husband, Brian, of Weaverville, NC; long time friends, Susan and Bob Henninger; and grandson, Dylan Shetley.
Honorary pallbearers are Darrel Jackson, Vance Dupree, Herbert Dupree, Gregory Schneider, Bryan Schmitz and Larry McConkey.
