Vernon Little

Robert Vernon Little, age 82, of Havre de Grace, Maryland passed away on November 18, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Darlington, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert and Hazel (Hickman) Little. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and worked for 40 years at Signature Aviation refueling airplanes at BWI. He loved his motorcycle and was a member of the Harley Dressers Club for 40 years. He enjoyed gardening, baking and cooking. He made the best chicken and dumplings, cold slaw, cookies and fudge. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.       

Vernon is survived by his wife Carole Little; son, Robert “Bobby” V. Little Jr. and Ruth; daughter, Sherry L. Dufour and son-in-law Doug; grandchildren, Shawna Rae, Stephanie and Anna “Annie”; great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison and Mason; brother, Roger Little and wife, Geneva; and many nieces and nephews and other extended family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Hazel; his brothers, Ronald, Raymond, and Richard.
