Vernie Beatrice Kirk

February 14, 1925 — August 30, 2003

VERNIE BEATRICE FORD KIRK, age 78, of Edgewood, died at her residence on Saturday, August 30, 2003. Born in Oglethorpe County, Georgia, on February 14, 1925 she was the daughter of the late Paschel Hinton Ford and Eula Beatrice Milton Brown. She had worked in Harford County Public Schools cafeterias for 20 years Gardening was her hobby.

Mrs. Kirk is survived by her husband of 56 years, Wilson L. Kirk; three daughters, Alice V. Levasseur of Annapolis; Audrey M. Rickman and her husband, David of Red Oak, Virginia; Angela R. Booth and her husband, David of Timonium; three grandchildren, Michael Levasseur of Annapolis; Matthew Levasseur of Menifee, California; Shawn Rickman of Red Oak, Virginia; and one great-grandson, Chandler Hart of Clarksville, Virginia; one sister, Edna Allen of Newark, Ohio. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her step-father, Charles Brown.

Pallbearers will be: David R. Rickman, David L. Booth, Michael W. Levasseur, Shawn K. Rickman, Matthew R. Lavasseur, and Joseph B. Kirk.
