Vera L. Sheets

Vera L. Sheets, age 87, of Aberdeen, MD passed away on November 16, 2018 at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Street, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Hazel (Ross) Douglas, and wife of Norman Clay Sheets. She was a dedicated mother and wife who loved to decorate the house for the holidays, especially Halloween and Christmas. She was a graduate of Bel Air High School and worked at Harford Mutual Insurance Company for 20 years. Additionally, she enjoyed working with plants and flowers in her garden and home, and was a self-trained gourmet cook. She was also a member of Deer Creek Harmony Presbyterian Church since 1953.

Survivors include her son, Barry D. Sheets.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Sterling E. Douglas.
