Vera L. Sachs

Vera L. Sachs, age 86, of Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania passed away on May 29, 2022 at Shrewsbury Lutheran Home in Shrewsbury, Pennsylvania. Born in Elma, New York, she was the daughter of the late Franklin and Lydia (Schroder) Lein and wife of the late John Sachs, Sr. She was formerly of Edgewood & White Marsh. Vera had worked at many churches throughout the years, including Bethany Lutheran Church (Suitland), Hope Lutheran Church (Essex), Trinity Lutheran Church (Joppa), a title clerk at Bel Air Auto Auction and in the offices of Merry Go Round clothing store. She was a former member of Stewartstown Senior Center.  She enjoyed making crafts, sewing, and gardening.      

Vera is survived by her friend, Craig Piercy of Shrewsbury, PA and step-granddaughter, Kimberly Morehouse. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Vera was preceded in death by brother, Edward Lein.
