Vera Bruggman

Vera Bruggman, age 89, of Bel Air, MD, died on July 18, 2011 at her home. Born in Piney Creek, NC, she was the daughter of the late John Anderson and Minnie Upchurch Richardson and wife of the late Richard Bruggman. A successful business woman, she owned and operated Vera's Beauty Salon and Bynum Inn in Abingdon, MD. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed crocheting and crafts.

Mrs. Bruggman is survived by her son, Edwin Bunker and wife, Darla of Bel Air, MD; daughter, Audra Hatfield and husband, Harold of Anderson, IN; and grandchildren, Steven Hatfield and Cathy Loser both of Indiana, Carey Diaz of Joppa, MD and Candace Walker of Bel Air, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by eight siblings.
