Vallaree M. Hopkins

Vallaree M. Hopkins, 93, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by family and friends on October 24, 2015. Born in Glenville, MD, she was the daughter of the late Treadwell Gilbert and Anna Parmelia (Holloway) Gilbert and wife of the late Raymond R. Hopkins. She was a lifelong resident of Level and active member of Rock Run United Methodist Church. Some of her community activities were coordinating & providing support for grieving families, as well as her work with the March of Dimes and Meals on Wheels. She brought joy to many by decorating her home for every holiday. Her hobbies included weekly lunches with friends at McDonald's, doing word searches, crafting and a passion for Elvis. But her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Mrs. Hopkins is survived by her daughter, Linda Hopkins Standiford (Norman) of Aberdeen; a beloved foster daughter Beverly Munoz and family of Florida; grandchildren, Jeff Standiford (Tricia), Vallaree Druyor (Dorell), Charlie Standiford, Vicky Standiford and Ronnie Standiford; and great-grandchildren, Brandon, Morgan and Jake Standiford, Deacon, Delia and Declan Druyor.
