Valdore A. ''Val'' Langford

Valdore A. "Val" Langford, age 87, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 21, 2010 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Thomas John Arculeer and Alberta Beatrice Saint Julien Arculeer and wife of the late Harold T. "Hal" Langford. She was a homemaker, a devoted mother, and a Catholic leader who donated graciously to charity. As a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory, Val dedicated her life to faith and family.

She is survived by five sons, Thomas, James, John, Paul, and Phillip Langford; three daughters, Ann Marie Foster, Jeannette Stancill, and Mary Margaret Standish; one sister, Peggy Holcomb; 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Therese Carpenter.
