Ursula Katharina Snapp

Ursula Katharina Snapp, age 67, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on September 3, 2012 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Trier, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Johann Jakob and Elisabeth Geborene Rath. She retired in 2000, from Harford County Public Schools where she had been employed for 34 years as a cafeteria worker. A member of the Edgewood Elks, VFW and American Legion, she spoke four languages, enjoyed cooking and loved her grandchildren.

Mrs. Snapp is survived by her husband, Gary Snapp of Abingdon, MD; daughters, Sue Barnard and husband, David, and Elizabeth Sauber and husband, Scott, all of Abingdon, MD; sisters, Yla and Ingrid Biro of Venezuela; and grandchildren, Corey and Kelsie Barnard, Ryan, Tyler and Nicholas Chaney.
