Una Burton

UNA HASH BURTON, age 101, of Bel Air, MD, died on April 5, 2006 at the Bel Air Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born in Grayson, County, VA, she was the daughter of the late John Ander and Sarah Catherine Long Hash, and the wife of the late Mathus Henderson Burton. She was a homemaker who lived most of her life in Middle River, MD, loved taking walks and playing the piano by ear.

Mrs. Burton is survived by one son, Ramsey Henderson Burton of Harrington, DE; one daughter Marian “Peggy” Burton Ely, and her husband, Gordon, of Bel Air, MD; four grandchildren, Bruce Henderson Burton of Simi Valley, CA, Darlene Bohlen of North East, MD, Jo Ann Ely of Fawn Grove, PA and Laurie Olszewski of Severna Park, MD; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by all 12 of her brothers and sisters. She had been the youngest child in her family.
