Tyrone "Ty" Branch

Tyrone "Ty" Branch, age 28, of Aberdeen, Maryland passed away on October 23, 2019 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Ty was the son of Elisha Branch of Havre de Grace and the late Henry Gordon. Ty was a 2009 graduate of Havre de Grace High School. Ty came to The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region over seven years ago and was a member of the Community Living and Supported Employment programs. Ty immediately had an impact on everyone he encountered. He will be remembered as hard working, compassionate, and a mentor to his peers. Ty was also the father of a little boy and has a daughter on the way.

Ty lived a beautiful life with many close friends and family. He traveled often; including vacations with his fiancée Sam and her family, as well as a trip to Las Vegas with his roommates. Ty loved sports and participated annually in Special Olympics, winning many awards. Ty took great pride in serving as a Self Advocate on the Foundation Board of The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region. He lived in Harford County with his roommates and was a valued employee at Thompson Toyota in Edgewood.

In addition to his mother, Ty is survived by his son, Nicholas Corbin; brother, Tyrel Branch; fiancée, Sam Finkelstein; unborn daughter, Ariella Ty Branch; aunt, Sheila; sister-in-law, LeAnn Eddy (Taariq); Sam’s parents, Michael and Donna Finkelstein; and many loving family members.
