Turner Wilson, of Joppa, MD died at the age of 84 on September 11, 2016 at Seasons Hospice at Franklin Square Hospital in Rosedale, MD. He was born in Burnsville, NC to David Garrett Wilson and Florence (McCurry) Wilson. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service where he worked as a carpenter, and was a member of the United Auto Workers. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, and traveling to Chincoteague. He was a fine craftsman and also enjoyed woodworking.
Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Martha Jane Wilson; his sons, Gary Wilson (Evelyn) of Fredericksburg, VA, Ronald Wilson (Lily) of Perryville and Donald Wilson of Abingdon; his daughter, Janet Day of Bel Air; his brother, Stanley Wilson of Moyers, WV; his sisters, Avis Duffield of Middle River and Chloe Nuckols of Essex; his grandchildren, Adam Day, Dustin Wilson, Amanda Mosmiller, Duane Dorn, Chasi Malone and Heath Hailey; and great-grandchildren, John Mosmiller, Pierce Morris and Cameron Malone.
Pallbearers will be Gary Wilson, Ronald Wilson, Donald Wilson, Adam Day, Dustin Wilson and Fred Day.
