Tracy Cochran

Tracy Cochran, age 58, of Maryland, passed away on May 30, 2024, at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.

Born in Baltimore, Tracy was the beloved son of Lenard F. and Barbara Virginia (Shroder) Cochran. He was raised by his loving grandmother, Geraldine, who adopted him and became a significant influence in his life.

Tracy was a devoted and loving father, always supporting and caring for his children. Family meant the world to him, and he was known for his willingness to do anything for his family and friends. His adventurous and rebellious spirit was most evident in his passion for motorcycles. Tracy found joy on the open road, riding with his friends and son, and he was happiest on his bike. He spent countless hours working on cars and motorcycles in the shop, sharing his expertise and enthusiasm with friends. Building and working on bikes was not just a hobby but a passion.

In addition to his mechanical skills, Tracy worked in asphalt installation and was known for his hardworking nature and handy skills. He also held a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, showcasing his diverse talents and interests.

Tracy is survived by his son, Brett Cochran; daughter, Alexis Lewis; brother, Kobbie Cochran. He also leaves behind his beloved extended family: Shaun Anderson, Zachary Anderson, Tyler Lewis, and Gavin Lewis, and many friends. 

A memorial service will be held to honor and remember Tracy’s life. Details of the service will be shared with family and friends in the coming days.
