Tony Rapp Lorenzen

December 3, 1939 — June 12, 2014

Anthony (Tony) R. Lorenzen, age 74, of Bel Air, MD passed away on June 12, 2014 after a long illness at Senator Bob Hooper House in Forest Hill. Born in Curtice, OH, he is the son of the late Theodore Karl and Aurora Rapp Lorenzen. Captain of his college football team, he later went on to coach high school football for Galion High School in Ohio and Bowling Green State University and was known to many as "Coach". He was a very highly respected truck and equipment salesman in Baltimore for 38 years and was an avid University of Michigan football fan.

Mr. Lorenzen is survived by his wife of 34 years, Mary Irene Russo Lorenzen; son, Tod (Cheryl) Lorenzen of Cheshire, CT; daughters, Nicole Ann (John) Benedict of Michigan, Dina (Charles) Astle and Dana (Ed) Kennedy of Pennsylvania; brother, Ted Lorenzen of California; grandchildren, Kristin (Evan) DiBlassio, Mark (Elise) Canale, Dani Kennedy, Halle Thom, Courtney Kennedy, Tyler Lorenzen, Christopher Lorenzen and Natalie Thom; and great grandchildren, Lucia DiBlassio, Giada Canale and Gemma Canale.

Services will be private.
