Tom Pape

Tom Pape, age 79, of Abingdon, MD, passed away on February 14, 2012 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Frostburg, MD, he was the son of the late John Dedrick and Eleanor Louise Niner Pape. He retired, after 40 years, as a drywall contractor and was an avid gardener, fisherman and crabber. He enjoyed watching classic movies and was a Colts and Ravens fan.

Mr. Pape is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lavonne D. Anderson Pape of Abingdon, MD; sons, D. Steven Pape and wife, Rebecca Jessop, of Abingdon, MD, L. Thomas Pape of Baltimore, MD, and David Christopher Pape and wife, Melissa, of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Tamera Lynn Crabtree and husband, Brian, of Bel Air, MD; brothers, Patrick Pape of Ocala, FL and Ralph Pape of Frostburg, MD; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be David C. Pugh, Richard L. Gatewood, Scott W. Frothingham, Ian R. Pape, Michael L. Anderson and Jeffrey S. Anderson.
