Timothy Sean Cooney

Timothy Sean Cooney, age 56, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away at home on April 18, 2017. Born on May 1, 1960 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Shirley Joy (James) Dowling and the late Thomas William Cooney. Tim was a kind, gentle, dependable, loving person with a light heart and funny sense of humor. He was a good friend to everyone that knew him and loved his family and pets with all his heart. He was employed in the printing business. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, fishing, bicycle racing and brewing beer.

Tim is survived by his wife, Beverly King Cooney, in addition to his mother Shirley Joy Dowling and husband Whitey; father, the late Thomas William Cooney and wife Shirley; sisters, Jodie Ann Burke and husband Tom, Cynthia Lee Bautz and husband Jay, and Melissa Jean Nelson and husband Mike; in-laws, Sally Zebley and husband Norman, and the late James LeBron King and wife Phyllis; sister-in-law, Diane Lisa Rice and husband Phil; Grandmother, Frances Mae James; nieces and nephews, Emily, Kelly, Ben, John, Brittany, Courtney and Matthew, along with many aunts, uncles and cousins.
