Timothy Philip Byrnes

October 18, 1949 — April 2, 2018

Timothy Philip Byrnes, age 68, of Edgewood, MD passed away on April 2, 2018 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in York, PA, he was the son of Albert J. and Grace Althea (Swank) Byrnes. He attended Susquehanna University and earned a Bachelors degree in Mathematics/computer science. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army where he played French Horn in the Army Band from 1971-1974 and later retired from the Department of Defense. He was the principal horn player and charter member of the Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra for 25 years. He was also an avid ice hockey and NASCAR fan.

Mr. Byrnes is survived by his wife of 45 years, Pamela Byrnes; daughter, Alison Byrnes Sigler (Josh); sons, Timothy A. Byrnes (Stephanie) and Jonathan S. Byrnes; 7 grandchildren; and brother, Albert W. Byrnes (Amy).
