Timothy Jon Amos

Timothy Jon Amos, 51, of Bel Air, MD passed away on October 9, 2015. Born in Havre de Grace, MD he is the son of Robert E. Amos Sr. and Patricia Margaret (Hufnagle) Amos of Bel Air. He worked for Mercedes Benz as an Operations Manager and was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church. He loved spending time with his family and friends and enjoyed fishing and playing basketball. He also enjoyed football and baseball and coached his children in sports which included basketball and lacrosse. Tim was a larger than life person who was incredibly warm, friendly, caring and kindhearted. One was quite likely to be laughing or smiling while in the company of Tim.

In addition to his parents, Timothy is survived by his wife of 27 years, Patty (Hewitt) Amos; sons, Jon C. Amos and Christopher M. Amos both of Bel Air; daughter, Erica L. Amos of Bel Air; brother, Robert E. Amos Jr. of Bel Air; and grandmother, Margaret E. Hufnagle of Hanover, PA. He was predeceased by his son, Timothy James Amos and his sister, Jennifer Margaret Amos.
