Timothy B. Eder, age 71, of Jarrettsville, MD passed away on December 21, 2018 at Johns Hopkins Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Emil and Josephine (Niedzwick) Eder and husband of Almea Eder. He was married for 45 years and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era. In 2007, he retired from being a firefighter with Baltimore County Station 8 Fullerton after 31 years of service. Additionally, he was a member of "The Mug Club" at Red Brick Station in White Marsh and a member of RASAC (Harford County Running Club). He was an ultra-marathoner and completed the JFK 50 miler as well as the HAT run 50K for 10 years. He completed his first sprint triathlon at 69 years old in addition to many other races throughout the years.
In addition to his wife, survivors include his two daughters, Karen Eder of Bel Air, MD and Natalie Eder of Rosedale, MD; three brothers, William Eder of Parkville, MD, Robert Eder of Mars, PA, and Richard Eder of Hanover, PA; sister, Dorothy Akehurst of Forest Hill, MD; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.
