Thomas Ritchie Maxfield Sr.

Thomas Ritchie Maxfield Sr., of Aberdeen, MD, died at the age of 69 on December 18, 2016 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. He was born in Tazewell, VA to Robert Nathan and Georgia Maude (Quesenberry) Maxfield. He worked as a repairman for the railroad and was a member of both the NRA and BMWE Union. An avid hunter, he loved feeding the wildlife and enjoyed working in his flower garden, especially with his roses. He also enjoyed mowing the grass, watching westerns on TV, and spending time with his family.

Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Belinda Sue Maxfield; his children, Beverly L. Dellecese and husband, Joseph, of Havre de Grace and Thomas R. Maxfield Jr. and wife, Talia, of Aberdeen; his siblings, George Maxfield of Tazewell, VA, Peggy Cothery of Pahrump, NV, Patricia Wilson of Bishop, VA and Nancy Pruett of Tazewell, VA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
