Thomas Ray Lockard

Thomas Ray Lockard, age 70, of Street, MD, died on December 23, 2010 at his home. Born in Salem, VA, he was the son of the late Warren and Frances Sturms, and husband, for 36 years, of the late Charlotte Lockard. He had been employed by an auto manufacturer as an assembly line worker.

Mr. Lockard is survived by his son, Danny Lee Redman Sr. and wife, Susan, of WV; daughter, Kathy Ann Vaartjes of Street, MD; six grandchildren, Danny Lee Redman Jr. of CA, Renee Redman of WV, John Vaartjes Jr. of NC, Scott Vaartjes and Christopher Vaartjes, both of MD; and 12 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son-in-law, John Vaartjes; and granddaughter, Brandy Redman.
