Thomas Stone Lyon, Jr.

Thomas Stone Lyon, Jr., age 82, of Bel Air, Maryland, passed away on May 5, 2024, at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland on May 21, 1941, Tom was the son of the late Thomas and Marie (Clark) Lyon. Thomas was the devoted husband of Patricia (Ryan) Lyon for 58 years.

Tom lived a full life. Growing up in Havre de Grace, he always enjoyed being on the water.   Also, Tom loved dancing, skiing, golfing, traveling and riding his motorcycle.  He and Pat even took a memorable cross-country trip on his bike.  

His family held a special place in his heart, and he was an outstanding husband, father, and grandfather.  He never missed an opportunity to watch his grandkid’s sporting events and held a major role in their life.  

Thomas is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Lyon; loving daughters, Shannon Grauel (Steven) and Alison Holloran (Matthew); adored grandchildren, Ryan Grauel, Nathan Grauel, Sage Holloran, and Willow Holloran; and brother, Bruce Lyon.
