Thomas James Abbott Sr.

Thomas James Abbott Sr., a resident of Abingdon, MD, died at the age of 74 on July 1, 2016 at Lorien Riverside in Belcamp, MD. He was born in Havre de Grace, MD to Mary Irene (Powell) Rice and the late Thomas Buckley Abbott. He worked as a truck and cab driver and was an auctioneer. He ran for office in the Town of Aberdeen a few times and liked to go fishing and ghost hunting. He loved watching the television shows American Pickers, Pawn Stars and Counting Cars.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 50 years Sandra Elaine Abbott; his son Thomas Abbott Jr. (Joannie McCoy) of Delta, PA; his daughter Mary Capute (Russell) of Havre de Grace; and his granddaughter Lilliana Capute.
