Thomas Fineagan

Thomas John Fineagan, 78, of Forest Hill, MD, died Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at his home. He was the loving husband of Mary Fineagan, to whom he was married 57 years. Born November 15, 1942 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late George and Emma Fineagan. Tom was a machinist for 30 years at American Can Company with an additional 17 years at Malco/Schlumberger where he retired in 2007. Tom was a member at Geneva Farm Golf Course where he very much enjoyed playing with his friends weekly. In his younger years, Tom enjoyed crabbing in the Chesapeake Bay and was an avid bowler with his bowling league at Parkville Lanes where he enjoyed his weekly games. The highlight of Tom's life was spending time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Tom is survived by his children, Margie MacCubbin and her husband Rob , of Delta, PA, Tom Fineagan and his wife Geri, of Fallston, MD; his grandchildren, Sarah Martin and her husband Ryan of Pylesville, MD, Rob MacCubbin and his wife Stacy of Delta, PA, Ryan MacCubbin of Delta, PA; and his great grandchildren, Ben Martin, Lexi Martin and Josie MacCubbin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his sister Margaret Merkel, his brother Carroll Fineagan and his sister Leona Valentine.

In lieu of flowers, and to honor Tom's love of his dogs, the family asks that memorial contributions in Tom's memory be made to BARCS, 2490 Giles Road, Baltimore, MD 21225.
