Thomas Calvin Dessecker, Jr.

Thomas Calvin Dessecker Jr., age 58, of Fallston, Maryland passed away on October 18, 2022 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Washington, DC, he was the son of the late Thomas Dessecker Sr. and Patricia (Rose) Dessecker.

Thomas was a graduate of Patapsco High School in Dundalk, Maryland. Afterwards, he went on to college attending the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He then began his career in the Culinary/Restaurant industry, later becoming an entrepreneur owning and running his own distribution company. He enjoyed watching his Baltimore Ravens and Manchester United teams. He liked to travel and cook. Most of all, he loved his family without question. His sons were his pride and joy. Tom was the dad in the cold and the rain watching soccer practice. He would crisscross the state taking the boys to their games every weekend with joy. Watching them grow into the young men they are today was his greatest happiness.

Thomas is survived by his wife of 27 years, Lisa Dessecker; sons, Thomas Calvin Dessecker III and Timothy Dessecker; sister, Dawn Dessecker Blake (Dan); brother, Kevin Dessecker Sr. (Michele); nephews, Kevin Dessecker Jr, Nicholas Blake, Benjamin Dessecker, William Blake; nieces, Carly Mitchell, Caralyne Blake, Lillian Dessecker; father-in-law, Paul Mastro; mother-in-law, Lois Mastro; brother-in-law, Michael Mastro (Sara); nephew, David Mastro; nieces, Alyssa Mastro and Naomi Mastro
