Thomas Alexander Borkowski

On February 15, 2017, Thomas Alexander Borkowski passed away at his home in Forest Hill surrounded by family. Born in Baltimore, son of Adolf and Anna (Krupinski) Borkowski, he was a graduate of Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and University of Maryland. He served in the U.S. Army stationed in Alaska. He retired as a high school teacher in Baltimore County and later worked as an engineering draftsman for various companies. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, Rock Spring Parrish and the American Legion Post 39. He enjoyed spectator sports, including horseracing and football.

In addition to his wife, Hazel, he is survived by daughters, Tammy Borkowski of Columbia, MD and Rebecca Borkowski of Abingdon, MD, her husband Douglas Johnson, and granddaughters, Olivia and Sophia. Preceded in death by brothers, Frank Borkowski of Dundalk, MD and Edward Borkowski of Baltimore, MD.
