Theresa Amelia Harward

Theresa Amelia Harward, age 85, of Abingdon, MD, died on February 28, 2011 at Glade Valley Nursing Home in Walkersville, MD. Born in Verga, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Anna Assan Feustel and wife of the late Donald Lee Harward Sr. She was employed as a switch board operator for C&P Telephone Company in Havre de Grace, MD and Bainbridge Naval Training Center in Bainbridge, MD. She later was a stay home Mom and a Sunday school teacher where she was involved with children's programs at various churches. She enjoyed dancing when she was younger, traveling with her late husband, cooking, country music and taking walks on the Havre de Grace Boardwalk.

Mrs. Harward is survived by her sons, Donald L. Harward Jr. of Verona, KY and Ricky S. Harward of Abingdon, MD; daughter, Sandy Maillet of Hancock, MD; and grandchildren, Donald David Harward of Monroe WA, Jessica Ann Willoughby, Heather Marie Willoughby, Allison Dawn Willoughby, Nathan Michael Harward and Christopher William Harward, all of Verona, KY, and Shannon Roze and Carson Corey Maillet of Hancock, MD.

Services were private.

Pallbearers were Rick S. Harward, Donald L. Harward Jr., Donald D. Harward, and Corey S. Maillet.
