Theodore Thatcher Belfit

Ted was born in Jacksonville, Florida on 7 August 1979. His father's federal career took the family to Arizona, Utah, Virginia and Maryland. Ted graduated from Bel Air High School in 1998.
Ted was a certified arborist and worked climbing and trimming trees for several tree companies in Maryland and Florida.

Recently Ted volunteered his time working with the US Department of Agriculture to research and regrow the American Chestnut tree in Westminster, Maryland.
Ted planted many beautiful trees and shrubs at the Virginia eastern shore.

He is survived by his parents, Scott and Victoria Belfit and sister Jessica Belfit, all of Bel Air. He has many uncles, aunts and cousins in Florida and Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with whom he spent many happy vacations and family events throughout his life.
Ted was a devoted worker, a caring friend and a joy for all of us to have known. He will be greatly missed by us all.
