Thelma M. Mumich

ROBERT EARL GRAFTON, age 73 of Bel Air died in Mariner Health of Bel Air on March 2, 2004. Born in Forest Hill, he was the son of the late Ellwood E. and Bettie Ennis Toliver Grafton and husband of the late Elizabeth Theresa Maenner Grafton. He worked for the State Highway Administration in the maintenance shop. A life time residence of Harford County, he was a past member of the Bel Air Volunteer Fire Company. He took great pride in keeping the grounds of the Hoza Estate known today as the Rockfield Manor where he was the caretaker for 47 years. He served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Mr. Grafton is survived by two sons, Robert M. Grafton of Bel Air; John T. Grafton of Port Deposit; one brother, Ernest Grafton of Anaheim, CA; one sister, Dorothy Carneal of Baltimore; four grandchildren, Robert C. Grafton of Bel Air; Matthew E. Grafton of Bel Air; James D. Grafton of Bel Air; and Michael T. Grafton of Aberdeen.
