Thelma Louise Schenning

Thelma "Lynn" Schenning was called home to the Lord on October 1, 2011 at age 78. Born in Marfrance, WV, she was the daughter of the late Cecil Roy and Mae Elizabeth Wertz Sams. She was a faithful homemaker, and was always considerate of others. She loved the Lord, her family, and her church family. She was an active member of the Church of Reconciliation in Bel Air, MD and enjoyed attending Wednesday night Bible Study.

Mrs. Schenning is survived by her husband of 55 years, John R. Schenning of Bel Air, MD; son, Rick Schenning and wife, Tammy, of White Hall, MD; son-in-law, Rob Farmer of Fallston, MD; brothers, Doss Sams of Street, MD and Bill Sams of Columbia, SC; sisters, Phyllis Ashley of Ocean Pines, MD and Connie Rutherford of Berlin, MD; and four grandchildren, Beth, Julie, and Michael Schenning of White Hall, MD and Jeffrey Farmer of Fallston, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cathy Farmer.
