Thelma Joy Edwards

Thelma Joy Edwards, age 64, of Edgewood, Maryland passed away on January 31, 2021 at her home. Born in Yoxford, England, she was the daughter of Walter Arthur and Joyce Thelma (Phillips) Eagle. Thelma enjoyed making all sorts of crafts including blankets and necklaces. When she was able, she loved spending her time in the outdoors hiking, camping, and even the occasional fishing trip. She enjoyed playing tennis with her husband. Her passion was her children and her grandchildren whom she loved very dearly. She belonged to the First Christian Church of Havre De Grace

Thelma is survived by her husband Donald Edwards with whom she shared 24 years of marriage; son, Richard Bruce Zeigler; daughter, Mary Elaine Edwards; step-sons, Dolan Thomas Edwards and Stephen Christopher Edwards; step-daughter, Ariel Kay Edwards; grandchildren, Brianna Talbot, Thomas Zeigler, Iain Zeigler, Hailey Zeigler, Sharron Zeigler; brothers, Barry Eagle, David Eagle, Jamie Eagle, Mark Eagle, Trevor Eagle, Darren Eagle; sisters, Wendy Chenrey, Patricia Phillips, Sylvia Chattenbury; nieces, Naomi, Julie Chattenbury, Sonia, Julie Phillips, Shirl, Rebecca, Louise, Lucy, Kayleigh, Jasmine, Kirsty; nephews, Craige, Kevin, Sein, Dean, Carl, Bradley, Daniel, Robert, Luke, Sian, Ryan, Liam, Stuart, Scott; and 47 great-nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings Michael Eagle and Sharron Eagle.
