Thelma Black Guercio, 90, of Bel Air, MD passed away on September 8, 2017 at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Topia, NC, she was the daughter of Eugene and Lena (Caudill) Black and was the wife of the late Vincent Ross Guercio. She worked at APG and APG Edgewood Area since 1966 in Military Personnel as a Clerk GS5. She attended Mt. Carmel Primitive Baptist Church for many years and after retirement enjoyed being a homemaker, reading, and her favorite television shows.
Mrs. Guercio is survived by her daughter, Jeannette Carol Guercio of Bel Air; two nieces, June Childers of Cumming, Georgia and Deborah Hagood of Martinez, Georgia; nephew, Jerry Brown of Lilburn, Georgia; 4 great nieces and 1 great nephew; and 3 great- great nieces and 3 great- great nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Lucille Smith, Farye Lee Brown and Nedra Black.
