Tessie Dimarino

TESSIE DiMARINO, age 93, of Edgewood, MD, died on May 5, 2008 at Stella Maris Hospice, Timonium, MD. Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and AnnaMarie Anorino Guercio and wife of the late Joseph Paul DiMarino. She had worked as a seamtress and sales representative at Epsteins Department Store for over 45 years. She enjoyed bingo, collecting butterflies, bus trips, the Italian Festivals, Atlantic City, solitaire, and pokeno. A member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Joppa, MD, she enjoyed volunteering at the Harford Square Community Pool and also setting up the American Legion for events. She loved her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and her entire family.

Mrs. DiMarino is survived by a daughter, Paulette "Toni" Meyer and her husband, Earl, of Edgewood, MD; a sister, Katie Beggs of Essex, MD; two grandchildren, Christopher E. Meyer and his wife, Charlotte "Mickie", of Edgewood, MD and Amanda M. Meyer of Edgewood, MD; three great-grandchildren, Anthony Meyer, Travis Gore II, and Jaden Meyer Ford, all of Edgewood, MD; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Anthony DiMarino and a sister, Sara Dignazio.
