TERRY RHUDY, age 63, of Darlington, died at his residence on December 11, 2002. Born in North East, Maryland, he was the son of the late Robert Cecil Saunders Rhudy and Evelyn Daphne Porter Rhudy. He was the owner and operator of the Conowingo Bait Company in Darlington, MD for 21 years. He enjoyed playing pool from his teen years until he became ill and playing poker with his friends (referred to as “the boys”). Born and raised in North East, he and his wife enjoyed vacations in the mountains of Virginia which they both loved.
Mr. Rhudy is survived by his wife of 22 years, Grace H. Mahan Rhudy; three sons, Terrence W. Rhudy, Jr. of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania; Steven W. Rhudy of Belcamp; Timothy W. Rhudy of Belcamp; a step-son, Timothy S. Caldwell of Millersville, Pennsylvania; step-daughter, Sandra D. Hopkins of Belcamp; five brothers, Robert Rhudy of Weaversville, North Carolina; Lon Rhudy of El Paso, Texas; George Rhudy of Elkton; Phillip Rhudy of Mullica Hill, New Jersey; Richard Rhudy of Los Angeles, California; three sisters, Mary Agnes Cussen of Vero Beach Florida; Nancy Ranels of Windsor Mill, Maryland; Ruby Burdick of Dade City, Florida; and six grandchildren.
