Ted Cochran, age 79, of Churchville, died in St. Joseph=s Medical Center on October 6, 2004. Born in Mt. Airy, NC, he was the son of the late Andrew Mack and Annie Caroline Reed Cochran. He was a founding member of Presbury United Methodist Church in Edgewood. A lifelong resident of Harford County, Mr. Cochran worked for Black and Decker for 35 years as a supervisor and also was a real estate sales consultant for 20 years. He served his country in the Army during World War II in the 17th Airborne Division.
Mr. Cochran is survived by his wife of 55 years, Helen Elizabeth Hutson Cochran, two sons, Roger E. Cochran of Bel Air and Steven T. Cochran of Parkton; one brother Wallace Cochran of Street; two sisters Edna Barringer and Helen Dorman both of Abingdon; and seven grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Presbury United Methodist Church, 1928 Bayberry Road, Edgewood, MD 21040.
