Tanya L. Fritts age 57, of Cockeysville, MD passed away on October 8, 2018 at GBMC in Towson, MD.
She was born October 27, 1960 and spent her childhood living on Virginia’s Eastern Shore at Wallops Station. She was a 1979 graduate of Arcadia High School in Oak Hall, VA.
Upon graduation, Tanya moved to Baltimore where she pursued a career in business. Ms. Fritts worked at ALMO Professional A/V for the past 20 years as a top field sales rep. and as a customer care specialist. She was awarded the ALMO Impact Award in recognition of her significant contribution to the Audio-Visual Industry.
A huge Baltimore Ravens fan, Tanya never missed a home football game. She also volunteered at a local animal shelter, and provided loving homecare to a collection of dogs, cats, and ferrets.
She is survived by her mother, Betty L. McConnell; brother, James L. McConnell; sisters, Jessi T. McConnell and Bonnie (Russell) McConnell Alt; former husband, Elmer C. Fritts (Birgit) of Forest Hill; sister in laws, Antoinette Norns, Barbie Fritts, and Stephanie Noto; mother in law, Barbara Fritts; four nephews, Kyle and Kevin Alt and Vincent and Derrek Noto; three nieces, Samantha Alt, Skylar Reid, and Samantha Norris.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Defenders of Animal Rights, 14412 Old York Road, PO Box 25, Phoenix, MD 21131.
