Sylvia Lilly Fordham

Sylvia Lilly Fordham, age 82, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on February 16, 2020 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. Born in High Point, North Carolina, she was the daughter of the late David and Faye (Carter) Lilly and wife of the late John C. Fordham Jr. She was her family's support system and was a proud military wife of a Lt Col. She was proud of the contributions she made as a military wife supporting her husband's career and enjoyed traveling the world. She adored her grandchildren.

Sylvia is survived by her daughters, Tina R. Huss and husband, George Patrick Huss and Dana G. Fordham; grandchildren, Jason F. Newman, John J. Newman, Sean P. Huss, Matthew R. Huss, Christina L. Fordham; and six great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, sister, brother and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cecilia Lynn Newman, and Cecilia’s daughter, Angela.

Burial will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery, where she will join her husband. Please contact the family if you wish to attend once arrangements have been finalized.
