SYLVIA ANN DOUSA, age 84, of Edgewood, formerly of Aberdeen, died in Lorien Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Belcamp on June 11, 2004. Born in Aberdeen, she was the daughter of the late Frank James and Josephine M. Faulker Moravec and the wife of the late William James Dousa, Sr. After high school she attended cosmetology school. She enjoyed bus trips to Florida and Canada and other places. She also enjoyed donating her crafts for fund raising to St. Rita’s Catholic Church in Dundalk and St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Aberdeen, where she was a member.
Mrs. Dousa is survived by one son, William James Dousa, Jr. and his wife, Linda of Edgewood; one sister, Margaret Rosenberger of Aberdeen; and one grandson, Todd Alexander Dousa of Whiteford. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, James Moravec; Frank Moravec; Phillip Moravec; two sisters, Helen Allen; and Dorothy Rather.
