Susie L. Joyce

Susie L. Joyce, age 82, of White Marsh, MD, died on February 28, 2009 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Montcoal, WV in 1926, she was the daughter of the late Garland Thomas and Della Mae Pettry and for 55 years, the wife of the late Donald L. Joyce. She was employed as a bookkeeper and had been a resident of White Marsh for 47 years. Susie enjoyed animals, cooking, and the Orioles and Colts.

Mrs. Joyce is survived by sons, Donald J. Joyce and his wife, Christy, of Fawn Grove, PA and Gregory D. Joyce and his wife, Carol, of White Marsh, MD; daughter, Linda S. Insley and husband, Tom, of Abingdon, MD; brothers, Johnny Pettry of Cleveland, OH and Joe Pettry of Seth, WV; sisters, Edna Crickenberger of Crozet, VA and Betty McGinnis of Stickney, WV; and grandson, Christopher Niblick of Fawn Grove, PA. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a brother, Tommy Pettry and sisters, Rosie Greiner and Elsie McCormick.
